- Must have Commercial Truck experience (this is a requirement)
Responsibilities
- INTERVIEWS and/or APPROVES job applicants for employment.
- CONDUCTS and/or REVIEWS associate performance appraisals.
- INITIATES or APPROVES salary adjustments, performance ratings, and other personnel changes.
- COUNSELS associates and TAKES disciplinary action or TERMINATES the employment of associates as appropriate.
- SUPERVISES associates who monitor, review, and analyze telephone calls, claim files, and reports to evaluate the effectiveness, performance, and behavior of claims associates.
- ANALYZES individual, section and location quality and performance based on monitoring and audit reviews results.
- COORDINATES implementation of projects and new procedures across Claims units based on root cause analysis reviews.
- RECOMMENDS changes in processes and methodologies to enhance processes and improve overall quality results.
- DETERMINES areas of strengths and areas of concern based on call monitoring and auditing reviews and PROVIDES feedback to management for training and coaching or behavioral opportunities.
- PERFORMS other duties assigned by management.
- ADHERES to the GEICO Code of Conduct, the GEICO Claims Code of Conduct, company policies and operating principles.
- MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with subordinates and management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial experience in Quality Assurance preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
