Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant experience Management Required
- Knowledge of hospital procedures and practices Required
Responsibilities
- Supervising Environmental Services employees
- Interviewing, selecting and training new employees
- Monitoring current employees and providing ongoing training, coaching and performance management
- Participating in the development and implementation of department wide projects and programs
- Responding to customer concerns/compliments
- Controlling operating expenses
- Adjusting staffing levels based on fluctuating workloads
- Developing and maintaining employee performance standards to achieve desired quality results through daily rounding in areas of responsibility and performing required audits
- Evaluating employee performance
- Utilizing the Beaumont Standards and effective communication skills to incorporate specific age, cultural or developmental needs
- Maintaining and/or improving employee engagement through rounding, recognition, team building and meeting
- Participation in department and hospital committees
- Developing programs/practices, which ensure correct/safe care and usage of chemical products and equipment
- Evaluation of new and existing products and equipment
