The Position
As an intern in our Clinical Operations department, you’ll play a key role in ensuring critical trial data is accurate, organized, and up-to-date, supporting informed decision-making. Your fresh perspective will also help improve processes and communication, driving efficiency across teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to smoother trial operations!
This is a 12-week, fully onsite Summer Internship Program paying $22.00/hr.
Responsibilities
- Storyboard tracker maintenance, verifying documents created are properly documented in storyboard tracker
- Provide communication assistance to cross-functional teams. e.g., corresponding with legal department for follow-up on contracts
- Lab Sample management tracking
- Review data entry to ensure completeness of EDC and IRT Systems.
- Document review
Requirements:
- Rising junior who has completed STEM-focused coursework and is interested in the biotechnology or medical field, seeking a non-laboratory role.
- This is an administrative position (not lab based) supporting clinical operations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic software skills (MS-Outlook, Word, Excel, DocuSign)
- Ability to master new software systems (e.g. Veeva eTMF)
- Sitting at computer for extended periods of time
- Proficient interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
