Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a current driver’s license and be willing to drive
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or seek an exemption
- Must pass a child protective services background check
- Must have a good driving record
Responsibilities
- Attend mandatory trainings during one-week onboarding period July 7 – 11 daily 8:30 – 5pm
- Coordinate with team members regarding timely arrival at camp locations each day
- Conduct Prepare with Pedro, Be Red Cross Ready and Hands Only CPR presentations for youth at summer camp settings
- Utilize physical and audiovisual program materials to deliver engaging presentations
- Work with individual students during activities
- Organize and distribute program support materials to students
- Assist with classroom management
- Ensure all reporting data for each presentation given is completed and given to regional staff in a timely manner
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the regional staff and volunteer program leads
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with youth and delivering educational presentations is preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Exemplary interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work on a team
