- Master’s degree in Engineering discipline plus 15+ years of related work experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
- Works as a subject matter expert providing objective advice, expertise and specialized skills in, but not limited to latest energy systems solutions, such as shipboard energy storage and integration engineering, battery abusive Test and Evaluation (T&E), printed circuit card design, aircraft energy storage system engineering and T&E, and missile battery testing for various platforms in support of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)
- Produces and reviews documentation and reports reflecting knowledge of areas on solutions to extend component lifecycle, insert state of the art technology and capabilities, and enhance power and energy systems, to include performing scientific and technical projects and RDT&E for the next generation of energy solutions for systems such as missiles, shipboard, and aircraft
- Experience in assessing and addressing technology gaps, developing prototypes for leading edge energy storage and integration solutions, and enhancing existing capabilities to keep pace with continually emerging and evolving threats.
