Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years progressive experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, category management.
- Proficient at MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strategic and innovative thinker able to influence and advise the stakeholder / business areas.
- Strong executive presence with outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Critical thinking, analytical skills and business acumen.

Responsibilities
- Participate in category management around the identification, development, and execution of the sourcing and procurement process for Professional Services.
- Focus on needs analysis, sourcing options, decision support, negotiation support, and contract oversight.
- Implement cost reduction strategies, category strategies, supplier risk mitigation, and management.
- Assist in leveraging market research and performing total cost analyses to support decision making.
- Work on a high-performing procurement team in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.
- Perform duties associated with category management including category definition, market intelligence, and development of supplier roadmaps and negotiation strategies.
- Foster partnerships with suppliers and critical business stakeholders.
- Responsible for escalations pertaining to the facilitation of requirements, and contract drafting and negotiations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
- MBA or Masters Degree.
- Category Experience: IT Professional Services (IT Consulting & IT Managed Svcs)
- Knowledge of BPO, Business Process Outsourcing.
- Knowledge of e-Procurement systems and tools; experience utilizing Procure-to-Pay and Contracting modules or similar procurement systems.
