Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters degree is a plus
  • Three to five years of consulting experience is a plus
  • Six Sigma, Project Management Professional, and/or Change Management certification preferred
  • Advanced user of Microsoft office suite products
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills with high attention to detail, organization, timeliness, and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of information technology platforms and information systems
  • Exercises independent judgment in carrying out the details of the work according to applicable regulations, company policies and procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of current industry trends, standards, and practices with strong business acumen
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel internal and external to the company including at an executive level
  • Capability of working responsibly with highly confidential information and of maintaining composure under duress
  • Strong personal computer skills, including spreadsheet and database usage, Excel and MS Office tools
  • Ability to utilize new tools and technologies in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong multi-tasking ability

Responsibilities

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives ranging from market expansion projects, strategic cost elimination, and business and workforce productivity, under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • Serve as liaison between staff, executives, and senior leaders regarding project updates, proposals and planning
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with outside operators, including business owners and third-party vendors
  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed, escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
  • Maintain weekly project status reports including progress on important milestones, next steps and risks/ issues
  • Research and analyze complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of an organization
  • Evaluate data and metrics to propose new strategies to improve project delivery and develop reports that portray and give external stakeholders visibility into the project landscape
  • Work at multiple organizational levels, ranging from executives to the frontline operators, working across functional areas, and understanding the needs and requirements across the organization
  • Make recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency and practices that align with Company’s goals and compliance standards
  • Ensure necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve difficulties which may impede progress or compromise achievement scheduled milestones
  • Work closely with assigned teams on process improvement and proactively engage with stakeholders to identify and monitor progress and issue resolution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three to five years of consulting experience is a plus
  • Six Sigma, Project Management Professional, and/or Change Management certification preferred
