Strategic Procurement Manager and Business Partner VBU

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
9-11 years of relevant procurement experience and supply chain experience
Good organizational skills and ability to deal with competing priorities
Effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation in English and local language)
Creative thinker, curious and unafraid to ask questions
Innovator, willing to initiate changes, introduce new ideas, and creatively problem solve
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Lead multiple categories to support the stakeholders in the Vaccines Business Unit
Partner with Global Category managers to deliver the best value for internal customers
Enable strong partnerships with relevant suppliers and streamline frequent purchases
Support the success of external partners to enable the Vaccines Business Unit
Develop and implement specific strategies in categories not supported by Global teams
Ensure high-quality end to end user service delivery
Provide regional input to Global category strategies
Accountable for the Global Procurement targets delivery in VBU
Uphold the highest ethical standards in partnerships with suppliers
Develop a pipeline of category and functional initiatives to meet targets
Monitor progress of Global Procurement activities in VBU
Work with Peer Functions to ensure end-user requirements are translated into efficient sourcing activity
Collaborate with Center of Excellence to support sustainability, systems and processes
Drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance and improving efficiencies and effectiveness
Understand challenges of the Vaccines business unit and adapt strategies accordingly
Create a culture of compliance internally and externally
