Requirements

  • You have familiarity with architectural drafting or store planning workflows
  • You have exposure to CAD tools such as Rhino, SketchUp, or AutoCAD
  • You have the ability to interpret 2D and 3D plans and translate spatial data into usable formats
  • You have a strong attention to detail and passion for getting things right
  • You are comfortable learning new technologies and working in a startup-paced environment
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Learn about RADAR’s mission, history, and core technology
  • Complete onboarding and get up to speed on the tools used by the Store Planning team
  • Meet team members across Store Planning, Design, Operations, Deployment, and Engineering
  • Begin hands-on work with guidance—starting with foundational CAD tasks
  • Observe and document key planning workflows and participate in team meetings
  • Participate in advanced training for LiDAR processing and spatial data integration
  • Analyze LiDAR scans and assist with architectural drafting using SketchUp, Rhino, or RealWorks
  • Begin handling more complex assignments independently
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of CAD workflows and documentation practices
  • Help maintain accurate project records and drawing archives
  • Take ownership of key planning tasks and quality control for deliverables
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure store designs align with RADAR’s location technology requirements
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes
  • Create and update documentation on best practices, tools, and workflows
  • Reflect on progress and set growth goals with your manager

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have experience with LiDAR point cloud data or reality capture tools
  • You have knowledge of commercial construction or retail environments
  • You have familiarity with tools like RealWorks, CloudCompare, or related platforms
  • You have curiosity about how technology and spatial data intersect
