Requirements

  • You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
  • You are proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently, contributing to smooth store operations.
  • You hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have 1-2 years of retail management experience.
  • You can stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
  • You can bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers.
  • You are passionate about providing our customers with opportunities to express themselves freely every day.
  • You are energized by interacting with customers and strive to provide excellent service throughout their visit.
  • You are inspired by our values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and management.

  • Join the ranks of our piercing experts through comprehensive training. Become a trusted guide for customers – conducting piercings, educating on aftercare, maintaining a sterile environment, addressing questions and concerns throughout the process.
  • Keep the heartbeat of our store strong by overseeing operations with efficiency and flair. From managing inventory and handling cash transactions to visual merchandising and coordinating promotional activities. You ensure that every aspect of store operations reflects the fun and joy that defines Claire’s.
  • Recruit, train, manage, and provide direction and development to your team. Foster a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability to drive results and ensure team members are continually challenged and achieving their full potential.
  • Showcase Claire’s products and services with enthusiasm and offer fashion-related tips and advice. Ensure your store is well-merchandised reflecting the latest trends and maximizing sales opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of retail management experience preferred, with a proven ability to drive sales and support team success.
  • Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers.
