Requirements
- Mechanically inclined
- Experience in small engine repair and equipment maintenance
- Experience with STIHL power equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Responsibilities
- Ensures equipment is repaired, safe, and ready to process
- Orders repair parts as needed for equipment repair
- Ensures proper check in and check out of equipment
- Maintains repair schedule and regular maintenance schedules for all STIHL equipment
- Identifies and notifies management of any pricing irregularities in the system
- Ensures customers are provided with the highest levels of customer service
- Greets all customers and assists in answering questions about merchandise and locating merchandising
- Completes all company and departmental paperwork accurately
- Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise
- Displays and maintains merchandise on end caps, shelves, counters or tables
- Maintains on-hand integrity through inventory adjustment reports
- Follows the nightly maintenance checklist to ensure proper store recovery and cleanliness
- Maintains familiarity with new products and ad merchandise
- Practices loss prevention techniques to minimize shoplifting losses
- Follows GLA policies and procedures for all transactions
- Engages the customer to ensure they are receiving all the benefits of being an Ace Rewards member
- Assists with color matching and mixing paint
- Operates cash register by scanning all merchandise
- Adhere to all company policies
- Participates in periodic team meetings
