Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Knowledge of mechanical drafting, engineering mathematics, geometric tolerancing, manufacturing methods, physics and strength of materials.
  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written). English is an asset.
  • Autonomy, collaboration, teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Support Module Engineers/Design engineers in designing parts or assemblies for testing to measure the parameters of specific regions (temperature, pressure, stresses, etc.)
  • Support Engineers with engine gas turbine preparation
  • Identify and manage the instrumentation points of Request for Test documents using the naming convention
  • Maintain the database of all instrumentation points for a new engine program (CID: Central Instrumentation Database)
  • Define and design an instrumentation catalog for a new engine program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CATIA software
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities
  • Project management skills.
