- Experience developing complex systems combining remote sensing technology, artificial intelligence, and controls for automotive or safety critical application
- Experience translating user or product level requirements into an architecture and performing a proper requirements allocation
- Demonstrated experience performing engineering analysis & trade studies of entire system covering perception, electronics, mechanical components, controls, and safety
- Demonstrated experience defining and executing verification and validation testing for complex systems
- Experience in the design and development of automotive or related electrical and electronic systems and/or components (including sensor and remote sensing technologies) or computer architectures or hardware/software for safety critical applications
- Experience in requirement derivation, tracking and verification tests processes (V diagram) in automotive applications
- Experience with AD/ADAS international regulations (e.g. Euro NCAP, UN ECE, US NHTSA)
- Experience in systems integration, vehicle testing, and functional safety
- Software coding skills (matlab, python or C/C++)
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with product, technical program management, software, and hardware engineering to analyze system behavior and develop features for AD/ADAS systems
- Develop system level vehicle requirements and decompose to lower-level subsystems (e.g. sensor, Human Machine Interface, compute)
- Develop system latency budgets based on scenario analysis and working cross functionally across different disciplines
- Generate evaluation system for assessing system performance against product level Key Performance Indicators
- Perform functional safety analysis
- Define and support execution of systems verification and validation testing at the vehicle level
