Staff Systems Engineer

Bachelors of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, a Masters of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of experience or a PhD in STEM discipline with 8 years of experience
Experience leading technical teams
Experience with Inertial Sensors or Systems
Demonstrated great communication skills
Strong Interpersonal skills
Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements
Demonstrated Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Ability to work onsite full-time in Clearwater, Florida

Support critical subcontractor for development and transition of the product throughout the production, maintenance, and sustainment phase of the program
Serve as a primary technical interface with the subcontractor on Engineering issues and questions
Act as a technical reviewer of CDRL/SDRLs for quality assessment
Act as an advisor to inter-organizational management and customers on subcontractor’s technical issues and challenges
Support the Program Manager and Engineering Team to make well-structured decisions for program execution
Prepare and present technical materials during major reviews such as Critical Design Review, System Verification Review, Test Readiness Review, and other program reviews as needed
Track and report technical performance measurements
Up to 10% travel to be expected (to customer, supplier, and other Northrop Grumman locations)
