Requirements
- 12 Years with Bachelors in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD.
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application
- 12 years experience in languages such as C, C++ or Rust
- Experience building software solutions involving hardware integrations
- Advance knowledge of Linux kernel and operating system constructs
- Advanced knowledge of computer networking standards (OSI), concepts, and related protocols (ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, ARP, and DHCP)
- Familiarity with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases
- Familiarity with Agile SW methodologies
Responsibilities
- Maintaining several SW product lines
- Troubleshooting Operating System issues
- Executing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) vulnerability management (CVEs) processes
- Continuous coordination and interfacing with SW SubProjects, Systems Engineering, the Infrastructure System Administration team, external customers, and multiple E1 site personnel teams
- Working in a dynamic team environment to create and implement well-defined processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance w/CI poly
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- DevOps or Platform Engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python and Perl
- Experience in designing, developing, deploying, and scaling containerized applications (Kubernetes)
- Experience driving architectural, design, and technical aspects of business-critical cloud applications
- Security+ Certification
- Mission One Experience
