Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: EOIR subsystems, EW subsystems, RF/antenna subsystems, digital communications, data processing methods and capabilities.
- Experience in decomposing, deriving, allocating and tracing requirements from system to component level.
- Familiarity with lab-based testing and integration of software into representative hardware.
- Familiarity with modeling and simulation.
- Experience with math/computing tools (MATLAB, etc.).
- Experience in the development of real time embedded software.
Responsibilities
- Support development and integration of one or more mission management functional capabilities as part of the mission systems segment to meet overall platform objectives.
- Requirements development, analysis, maturation and implementation translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Performing functional and performance analyses.
- Models behavior of systems in real-time and constructive simulations of sensors and other platforms.
- Integrate developed capabilities with operational scenarios and representative surrogate hardware.
- Test/experiment design to conduct parametric performance analysis.
- Test/experiment design using measures of performance assessment tools.
- Solicit input from various stakeholders, synthesize data, and communicate results to various levels of leadership within the organization.
- Perform mission engineering activities to ensure continuity between desired operational capabilities and delivered system performance, through the Systems Engineering ‘V’.
- Ensure performance capabilities of architectures and solutions are traded against cost and mission requirements and assess operational effectiveness of existing and emerging capabilities in representative operational environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in model-based systems engineering using Cameo or similar SysML tools.
- Experience with data reduction from flight test/ lab integration activities.
- Demonstrated mathematical problem-solving ability and data analysis experience.
- Work experience with one of the following areas related to radar systems: search or track, surveillance, reconnaissance, electronic protection, ID, or adaptive technique.
- Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders.
- Familiarity in Agile and Digital Engineering processes.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite.
