Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: EOIR subsystems, EW subsystems, RF/antenna subsystems, digital communications, data processing methods and capabilities.
  • Experience in decomposing, deriving, allocating and tracing requirements from system to component level.
  • Familiarity with lab-based testing and integration of software into representative hardware.
  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation.
  • Experience with math/computing tools (MATLAB, etc.).
  • Experience in the development of real time embedded software.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and integration of one or more mission management functional capabilities as part of the mission systems segment to meet overall platform objectives.
  • Requirements development, analysis, maturation and implementation translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Performing functional and performance analyses.
  • Models behavior of systems in real-time and constructive simulations of sensors and other platforms.
  • Integrate developed capabilities with operational scenarios and representative surrogate hardware.
  • Test/experiment design to conduct parametric performance analysis.
  • Test/experiment design using measures of performance assessment tools.
  • Solicit input from various stakeholders, synthesize data, and communicate results to various levels of leadership within the organization.
  • Perform mission engineering activities to ensure continuity between desired operational capabilities and delivered system performance, through the Systems Engineering ‘V’.
  • Ensure performance capabilities of architectures and solutions are traded against cost and mission requirements and assess operational effectiveness of existing and emerging capabilities in representative operational environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in model-based systems engineering using Cameo or similar SysML tools.
  • Experience with data reduction from flight test/ lab integration activities.
  • Demonstrated mathematical problem-solving ability and data analysis experience.
  • Work experience with one of the following areas related to radar systems: search or track, surveillance, reconnaissance, electronic protection, ID, or adaptive technique.
  • Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity in Agile and Digital Engineering processes.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite.
