Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems, including structural components, mechanisms, and assemblies
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for mechanical components, from initial concept and prototyping to validation and scaling into large-scale volume production
  • Partner closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams to implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles
  • Conduct and oversee in-depth engineering analyses, including finite element analysis (FEA), thermal analysis, and kinematic studies
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including electrical, software, and systems engineering
  • Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for complex issues encountered during prototyping, testing, or production
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior and mid-level engineers
  • Act as a technical authority and key decision-maker in mechanical engineering
