Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science for a SaaS company or a mature startup
- BS/MS in Data Science or a related quantitative or scientific field
- Strong skills in SQL and Python
- Experience with using ML libraries – pandas, numpy, sklearn, scipy, etc.
- Strong background in Statistics
- Experience ingesting, processing, and visualizing data sources of varying types – structured/relational and unstructured
- Experience in developing, managing, and manipulating large, complex datasets
- Data-driven, detail-oriented individual with excellent storytelling and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Superb time management, prioritization of tasks and ability to meet deadlines with little supervision
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to understand patterns and trends in member behavior and data accuracy
- Develop algorithms and models to integrate member data seamlessly across various platforms
- Design and deploy machine learning models to predict member data changes
- Use predictive analytics to anticipate member needs and reduce friction in updating and authorizing data
- Implement robust data validation and cleansing techniques to ensure the accuracy and quality of data
- Continuously monitor data quality metrics and develop automated systems to correct inconsistencies and errors
- Lead initiatives to create dynamic member profiles that align with various use cases and contexts
- Collaborate with technical teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to enhance the ID.me platform’s functionality
- Develop and oversee data governance policies that support scalable, secure, and efficient data operations
- Advise on the strategic use of data and analytics to drive business decisions and improve the member experience
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, coaching and/or training to junior Data Scientist
