Requirements
- Must have 16 years of experience. Will consider those with a bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of experience or a master’s degree plus 10 years of experience.
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in capture management, business development, project/business/program management or engineering
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer relationships with existing and new customers, including senior company and government agency leaders, to ensure products and company are well known and respected.
- Lead new business capture activities.
- Develop and execute new business strategies that align with the higher-level business strategic objectives.
- Make strategic adjustments to the Business Development Plans as necessary to adapt to product updates and evolving customer’s interest.
- Help to develop and manage M&S, B&P and IR&D resource allocations.
- Support Proposal Preparation, Review and Approval Process.
- Develop and Perform to a Strategic Plan including multi-year sales and marketing strategic plans that identify key products and markets that will enable the company to achieve its goals of growth and profitability.
- Create, update, and maintain SalesForce records to support new business opportunity pursuits, and gate reviews.
- Build and execute marketing and communications plans.
- Regularly report to the company’s Management Team the status of all major opportunities assigned, and the status toward achieving the awards plan.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree strongly preferred
- Domain expertise in US DoD Air and Missile defense programs (MDA, Navy, Army)
- Understand the DoD & intelligence budgets and marketplace
- Working knowledge of U.S. Government procurement policies and regulations
- Active Secret Clearance
