Requirements
- Strong knowledge in AI/ML, GenAI, infrastructure, and developer tools, particularly in creating content generation pipelines
- Experience with LLMs, transformers, model inference, pre-training, fine-tuning, data platforms, and infrastructure
- 12+ years relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high growth tech environment delivering business outcomes
Responsibilities
- Guide teams to major deliverables with knowledge and expertise in AI/ML, particularly in generative models.
- Own a technical area by providing technical leadership for a team focused on advanced AI/ML innovations.
- Drive large cross-functional projects independently to completion, emphasizing the integration of creative AI technologies.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure they are aware of the cutting edge and can leverage knowledge into products.
- Evaluate technologies and potential partners to find the best fit for DigitalOcean.
- Participate and support in engineering excellence.
- Independently complete projects from planning to completion with high autonomy.
- Collaborate with other engineers to find elegant architectures and solutions that enhance innovative AI capabilities.
