Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 5-7 years of Workday Benefits experience required, Workday certifications preferred
- Depth of knowledge in Workday’s core architecture including business process framework, security, and reporting
- Experience with Workday HCM, WBNs, Open Enrollment, Reporting, Security, Talent and Performance configuration
- Ability to work independently in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to lead strategic discussions with stakeholders
- Experience implementing systems in multiple regions, familiar with a global work environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical details
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Independently design, configure, and maintain Workday Benefits and HCM modules, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Partner with Business, Centers of Excellence, and Workday Module Leads to document requirements, test feasibility, and gather feedback
- Develop and execute test plans, identify system enhancement opportunities, and recommend optimizations
- Stay updated on Workday industry standards and ensure compliance with data security, privacy regulations, and reporting needs
- Monitor Workday releases and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders
- Serve as a subject Matter Expert to optimize Benefits and Talent design and configuration and processes
- Understand HR Benefits, Talent Management and Performance terms, methodologies, and processes
- Provide Benefits and Talent troubleshooting for escalated tickets
- Configure and maintain Benefits module including but not limited to plans, eligibility, Open Enrollment and passive events
- Assist with Talent and Performance initiatives such as year end reviews, calibration, etc.
- Work with internal stakeholders and business partners to provide valuable solutions that support efficient processes and modern user experience
- Participate in a global Architectural review committee to ensure global design control standards are met
- Design and prototype solutions, present options, lead design and operational problem resolution workshops as needed
- Document end to end solution design details
- Provide accurate estimates of effort and resources required to complete tasks and projects
- Mentor and guide teammates to promote knowledge sharing and team growth
- Be an active member on the Workday Community to keep a pulse on new features, product defects, and advocate for desired enhancements
