Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, strategic planning, and stakeholder management.
- Strong negotiation skills to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and program management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, along with advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Be a proactive self-starter comfortable navigating dynamic work environments with shifting priorities.
- Effective in engaging and collaborating across different departments.
- Experience in the Automotive Industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support key procurement savings initiatives, both cross-functional and departmental, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Collaborate with Group Managers and Global Supply Managers (GSMs) and oversee the operational execution of procurement activities within the Interior and Exterior Direct Procurement.
- Serve as a liaison between the procurement team and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on procurement strategies, timelines, priorities, and executions.
- Provide actionable insights through data analysis, developing dashboards and reports to track procurement performance, savings, supplier performance, and other key metrics.
- Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes that enhance procurement effectiveness.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior executives, summarizing key procurement achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Experience with complex analysis and data analytics in a supply chain context
- In-depth understanding of automotive market dynamics and pricing mechanisms
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends and emerging technologies in Interior and Exterior components
- Financial Planning & Analysis role experience
- Cost Engineering experience
- Start-up working experience
