Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 8+ years of experience in user experience research, with demonstrable experience designing and executing research across the full tech product development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical skills, coupled with a willingness to explore beyond the traditional toolbox and embrace new methodologies
  • Must be results-oriented and have the ability to work independently, identifying when and where feedback will be valuable and incremental
  • Innate desire to share credit and support one’s colleagues, putting the success of the team and the company ahead of personal gain
  • Refusal to compromise on commitments, quality and the truth
  • Excellent cross-functional partnership skills and ability to lead product conversations with insights
  • Knowledge of and experience with Visa products a plus
  • Experience with tools such as Figma, dScout, UserTesting.com

Responsibilities

  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research programs with a hypotheses-led/problem statement approach
  • Manage participant recruitment and associated privacy and data considerations
  • Weave together a story for internal and external stakeholders that demonstrates how the research meets their objectives
  • In partnership with product and design colleagues, define and prioritize research that should be completed to achieve successful product incubations in North America.
