Requirements
- M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering experience required or equivalent military experience required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in building large enterprise applications and data APIs
- Experience in building and maintaining complex data pipelines and analytical solutions
- Must have hands-on programming skills in Java
- Experience with developing REST API’s
- Experience in Python programming, expertise in Linux and shell scripting skills are a significant plus
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as, GCP, AWS, their services (BQ, BT, DataFlow, Pubsub etc) and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of databases SQL, NoSQL, Time series, GraphDB etc
- Experience with Big data tools like Spark, Kafka, etc.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end backend development of features and core components across their entire life cycle (design, develop, test, deploy, maintain)
- Design, develop, maintain and optimize data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse
- Build scalable data warehouse and data APIs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Contribute to team-wide efforts – code reviews, design reviews, technical and architectural decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Python programming, expertise in Linux and shell scripting skills are a significant plus
