Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 6 years of aerothermal or systems integration experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Aerospace or equivalent industry.

- Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide systems integration and requirement flowdown to preliminary design, performance, operability, controls and transient analysis disciplines.
- Provide systems integration and requirement flowdown to fuel sub-systems, electrical sub-systems and test facility.
- Ensure control systems tech maturation plans support a competitive next generation product offering.
- Ensure engine and rig test plans capture tech maturation and risk burndown objectives.
- Requirements and design integration of thermodynamic engine cycle model.
- Requirements and design integration of FADEC control software.
- Define and manage workscope, schedules and deliverables to ensure a successful program execution.
- Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.
- Manages interface between design, systems, and execution organizations.
- Provides forward looking strategy for platforms and technology development / insertion to make product competitive.
- Defines and provides scope management. (defines the what).
- Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline.
- Serves as best practice/quality resource.
- Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area.
- Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Exposure to aviation engine design, SPOCT, and certification requirements.
- 10 years of experience in design/development of turbomachinery.

- Communicate concisely and appropriately with both internal and external senior leadership teams.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
