Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or MS in Engineering or equivalent experience
- +5 years of hands-on Cloud/Reliability engineering experience
- Experience with enterprise-scale applications supporting thousands of users
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (Git, Docker, infrastructure as code, observability, continuous integration/continuous deployment – CI/CD)
- Knowledge of product development tools and practices (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Skills in scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell. Experience with other programming languages (Python preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude

Responsibilities
- Become a member of a high-performing team to deliver reliable and scalable solutions
- Own the infrastructure and application deployments for Jira and Confluence Data Center, ensuring service availability, responding to incidents, investigating root causes, and collaborating with service engineers
- Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure pieces that allow scaling to support thousands of concurrent users
- Improve the upgrade and deployment process to eliminate human touches from the process
- Operate AWS Cloud infrastructure with Ansible, Terraform, AWS CLI or via APIs
- Provide Level 2 & 3 technical support for platform issues
- Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect conditions and remediate before outages occur
- Define and maintain observability dashboards using Elastic, Grafana, and other enterprise tools
- Prioritize reusable solutions to maximize efficiency and scalability
- Document findings to create repeatable actions and automate processes
- Actively participate in the company’s DevOps and SRE communities to share knowledge and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
