Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development, using either Python or GoLang as primary programming languages.
  • 6+ years of demonstrated professional experience in cloud engineering, with a strong working knowledge in either AWS or GCP.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in cloud migration and transformation projects, including practical application of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Cloud Workflow and Build Systems: Automate build, infrastructure, and software configuration management tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Architect and Develop: Design, develop, maintain, and support high-quality in-house software build systems for enterprise-class software, ensuring robust performance and scalability.
  • Champion Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Architect and maintain automated pipelines that ensure the continuous and flawless delivery of value to our clients.
  • Advance Public Cloud Infrastructure Best Practices: Contribute actively to the ongoing improvement and implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for Public Cloud best practices.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developer and system architecture teams to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Contribute to Solution Design: Assist in the design and implementation of solutions that improve the stability, security, and scalability of our cloud environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating effectively with multi-functional teams, including software developers and system architects.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform.
  • A proven understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including experience with monitoring, alerting, error budgets, and fault analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) technologies, particularly Argo CD and Argo Workflow.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Possession of relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record to effectively address challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development and implementation of cloud infrastructure best practices.
  • US work authorization preferred.
