Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related application engineer or analyst occupation
Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
Experience in Linux Operating Systems
Experience in Windows Server 2016 and 2019
Experience in Virtual Machines
Experience in Containers: Docker and Kubernetes
Experience in Databases: IBM DB2, MYSQL, and MSSQL
Experience in Messaging Tools: IBM MQ and KAFKA
Experience in Data Storage Technology: Hazelcast
Experience in Networking: Firewall, Load Balancers, HTTP, TCP/IP, SSL, Digital Certificates, and Encryption
Experience in Web Services: Java and Bash

Provide technical support to critical applications
Perform root cause analysis, applying operation break fixes and other maintenance activities to keep critical application up and running 24×7
Interact with Systems, Database personnel, Engineering, Product Development, Risk and various groups within Technology
Provide technical support to Tier 0 Applications ensuring it meets all service level agreements and team objectives
Participate in root cause and analysis (RCA) for issues encountered for associated services
Assist in disaster recovery plan without impacting any related services
Implement extensive application monitoring objectives
Implement self-healing services to minimize or eliminate downtime
Work with development team to resolve issues, enhance applications, and advice
Participate on the on-call rotation
Resolve incidents and problems in accordance with defined guidelines and meet operational level agreements
Ability to work after hours including weekends, night, early morning on rotational shifts
