Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- You have a Platform Developer I certification.
- 5+ experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL.
- 5+ Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration patterns.
- 3+ Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
- 3+ Experience with Salesforce development tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce release management processes and best practices, including sandbox testing, regression testing, and production smoke testing.
- Experience in technical leadership including mentoring and guiding junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning across the team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and relevant Salesforce APIs.
- Develop complex declarative solutions using Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Validation Rules, understanding when code is necessary.
- Implement robust batch processing and asynchronous operations (Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex, Platform Events, Change Data Capture).
- Plan and execute technical tasks associated with system cutovers for major projects or platform migrations, including data migration strategies, deployment sequencing, and hypercare support.
- Lead technical design sessions and contribute to architectural decisions for Salesforce projects, particularly concerning integration and custom development.
- Establish, promote, and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices, including code reviews and unit testing.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Possess a strong understanding of event-driven architecture principles and their application within the Salesforce context.
- Expertise in Salesforce DX (SFDX), source control (Git, including branching strategies like Gitflow), and repository management.
- Implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, or Jenkins with SFDX plugins.
