Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience in Sales Operations (SaaS environment preferred)
  • Robust, SME-level understanding of sales processes, revenue funnels, and customer lifecycles
  • Strong experience working within Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to others and motivate change, without direct authority
  • Ability to identify problems and issues, and propose potential solutions
  • Professional and effective communication and presentation skills in all forms
  • Natural inclination to seek out data to inform decisions
  • Ability to dig deep and identify root causes instead of jumping to obvious conclusions
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives that align with overall business goals and revenue objectives
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work closely with senior leadership, Marketing, Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with broader business objectives
  • Analyze complex sales data to uncover trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead change management efforts for Sales Operations, including introducing new tools, processes, or methodologies
  • Mentor and guide junior sales ops team members
  • Partner with assigned selling teams and senior leadership to proactively identify, prioritize, and drive strategic revenue-enabling initiatives
  • Drive complex projects to completion within a framework that ensures quality and adoption
  • Document and update project progress to stakeholders and leadership regularly
  • Develop organized and purposeful scrum sprint plans & comprehensively document sprint retrospectives
  • Provide front-line support to selling teams by responding to various requests

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience in a fast-moving SaaS environment
  • Experience with tools used in Revenue organizations (Salesforce, Salesloft, Chili Piper, LeanData, Attention; Wrike for project/task management)
  • Certifications in project management, Salesforce, Salesloft, Chili Piper, LeanData, or Six Sigma (or an MBA)
  • Business acumen and understanding of the role of Sales Ops within the broader business context
  • Results orientation and recognition of the importance of achieving results
  • Flexible tenacity and ability to persist through challenges
