Sr Revenue Accountant

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 326.

Responsibilities

• Create and send invoices to customers for cloud services, cost reimbursements, and leases.
• Process payments and manage cash collections.
• Resolve customer billing inquiries and issue credits within established thresholds.
• Create and maintain customer profiles and accounting data.
• Analyze customer payment patterns and financial data to calculate expected credit losses under ASC 326.
• Reconcile AR aging and associated clearing accounts.
• Review and calculate complex revenue share arrangements with partners.
• Collaborate with the revenue accounting team to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Contribute to ad-hoc reporting and projects as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license or actively pursuing a CPA license.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements within accounts receivable.
• Experience with accounting software implementations or upgrades.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
