Sr Propulsion Technician – Flexrotor

High school diploma or equivalency
Minimum of six (6) years of experience working in an aerospace, production, mechanical, military, or manufacturing environment
Experience designing test setups related to mechanical systems
Eligible for employment in the US, Options: none, US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
Fundamental understanding of electro-mechanical systems, such as engine test stands or dynamometers
Experience with data acquisition systems
Fundamental understanding of two stroke engines and fuel systems
Experience with tools and equipment related to engines
Demonstrated track record of assuming ownership over development processes and features and delivering outstanding outcomes
Track record of successfully shipping products, showcasing the ability to navigate through development cycles, overcome obstacles, and deliver high-quality solutions to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English

Assemble and test production engines, fuel tanks, and ignition systems.
Assemble, test and calibrate production rotor systems and related components.
Perform propulsion systems development, fabrication, and assembly.
Troubleshoot failure modes and provide photo documentation and feedback to engineering
Operate manual machine tools, rill, lathe, mill, dyno etc.
Align, fit or assemble propulsion system component parts, using hand or power tools and fixtures
Maintain part inventory and order replacement inventory as needed
Review of documentations including drawing, schematics, and Bill of materials
Assisting with manufacturing/ production / quality process improvement
Develop work instructions, test procedures and quality documentation
Maintain shop cleanliness
Adhere to tool control and safety protocols
