Sr. Program Quality Engineer

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with NASA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per NASA’s regulation SUBPART 1835.5 Drug- Free Workforce

Understand and implement customer quality requirements, ensuring thorough flow down and execution of these requirements across internal production and Collins wide support sites as well as major subcontractors.
Lead the execution of escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning and implementation, adhering to current standard work.
Enhance processes to develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols.
Oversee and resolve nonconforming material and process noncompliance events.
Provide detailed analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods, and technologies to ensure product and process reliability and conformance.
Ensure projects and process control documentation comply with requirements, objectives, and contracts.
Assist with supplier quality activities, warranty processes, part purges, and MRB activities.
Develop and implement proactive quality initiative strategies.
Oversee both Program and Product Quality Engineering responsibilities.

AS9100 Experience
MRB Experience
Advanced degree in engineering or related field
Experience working with electrical, electronic, and electromechanical devices and applications.
Experience with managing projects across multiple facilities
