Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT or cloud product management, with a strong focus on highly secure, regulated environments (e.g., GovCloud, FedRAMP, DoD, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS models—particularly in government-regulated cloud ecosystems.
  • Proven success in driving large-scale, secure, and compliant platform initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance requirements in public sector cloud environments.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and experience working across cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, legal, and government stakeholders.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, product vision, and leadership in high-stakes, mission-critical environments.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking KPIs for product success.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver customer-centric solutions with a focus on reliability, compliance, and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for IT services deployed in AWS GovCloud, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and CJIS requirements.
  • Partner with InfoSec and compliance teams to implement secure-by-design principles and deliver audit-ready cloud solutions.
  • Drive governance and risk mitigation strategies aligned with public sector regulations.
  • Own the lifecycle of cloud-based IT products and services, with a strong emphasis on scalability, automation, and cost optimization in GovCloud environments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, resilience, and performance of mission-critical applications.
  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for IT services tailored for government clients, with a focus on secure cloud transformation.
  • Align product goals with strategic priorities from internal stakeholders, government mandates, and citizen-facing initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between engineering teams, government stakeholders, and internal leadership to ensure timely delivery and operational excellence.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable user stories and product features with an understanding of government procurement cycles.
  • Champion a user-centric approach, ensuring products meet the unique needs of government agencies while incorporating the latest in cloud-native technologies.
  • Drive continuous product discovery through user research, feedback loops, and performance metrics.
  • Establish KPIs to measure product success, adoption, and compliance readiness in cloud-based government IT environments.
  • Lead agile product development cycles, managing backlogs, sprint planning, and cross-functional prioritization.
