Sr Product Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on data schemas, data flows, and interfaces
Strong understanding of relational databases, specifically Aurora Postgres
Experience with data modeling, schema design, and SQL
Basic understanding of Data Integration Patterns and Tooling including ELT/ETL, EII, Replication, Event Streaming, and Virtualization to support batch and real-time data needs
Knowledge of API design and development
Proven experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead and inspire a cross-functional team

Develop and implement the product vision and strategy for data schemas and interfaces in Aurora Postgres
Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog to ensure the team is working on the most impactful items
Work closely with stakeholders, including application teams, to gather requirements, understand needs, and ensure alignment on objectives
Conceptualize and contribute with data team on financial planning data (Entity relationship Diagram) to be structured in the database to support application features
Participate in the implementation of data schemas in Aurora Postgres, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards
Analyze and design data flows to ensure efficient data movement and integration across systems
Awareness of data governance and compliance regulations specific to the financial planning sector
Define and expose interfaces for application teams to consume data, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet security standards
Ensure comprehensive documentation of data schemas, data flows, and interfaces to support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of data schemas and interfaces
Work with the team to establish KPIs and success metrics for the product deliverables
Continuously evaluate and improve the product management processes and practices within the team
