Requirements
- Portfolio Submission: Writing samples of your recent work
- 5+ years of professional writing experience related to field apps or GIS; ideally a blended background including technical and creative writing
- Exposure to web-based content management systems to create and publish documents
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, compelling content
- Effective time management and organizational skills; work proactively and volunteer assistance without being asked and under tight turnaround
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in an agile environment with a fluid mix of collaborative and independent work
- Bachelors in GIS, geography, computer science, English, or related field

Responsibilities
- Write reference help documentation in our content management system about ArcGIS Field Maps, Esri’s mobile solution for exploring maps, collecting data, and sharing location from the field
- Create and maintain blog articles, videos, guides, and tutorials that provide guidance, best practices, and applied workflows for Field Maps and other field apps
- Collaborate with development, product marketing, product management, documentation, sales, and other teams to provide learning resources about Field Maps and other field apps
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ArcGIS
- Exposure to mobile GIS workflows such as taking web maps offline
- Master’s in GIS, Geography, English, or related field
