Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
- Five years’ experience in Food Manufacturing.
- Five years experience in machine or equipment design.
- Strong 3D and 2D CAD skills. (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Leadership skills to work as a peer and advisor to other departments.
- Ability to rotate shifts and work weekends and holidays when required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; Computer applications skills.
Responsibilities
- Leading the end-to-end development of innovative manufacturing process equipment, particularly cutting systems, to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Designing, constructing, and testing prototypes to validate new technologies and processes.
- Scaling prototype solutions to commercial production, ensuring seamless integration at Lamb Weston or co-manufacturer facilities.
- Providing subject matter expertise to support plants and other teams across the company, offering technical guidance on process equipment and innovation projects.
- Collaborating with the Process Innovation and broader Innovation teams to align projects with company goals.
- Supporting research and development-style engineering projects to advance other manufacturing processes as needed.
