Requirements
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, contracts, law, or a related field, or a Masters or J.D. with 6 Years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in terms and conditions exhibited through a lead role in negotiations or contract drafting.
- 3+ years demonstrable leadership as exhibited through ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment while achieving favorable outcomes.
- Ability to create and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
- Experience drafting complex contractual documents, including, but not limited to, Overriding Agreements on Terms and Conditions, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Long Term Supply/Pricing Agreements.
- Demonstrated negotiation experience
- Experience with FAR/DFARS
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- U.S Citizenship
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in terms and conditions and contract negotiations in Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems supply chain.
- Conduct complex negotiations with Northrop Grumman’s strategic and critical suppliers to establish favorable contractual positions and to settle disputes.
- Review, analyze, interpret, and draft tactical and strategic agreements.
- Liaise with the Law Department, Programs, Supply Chain, and Engineering to foster long and short-term business relationships with our supply base.
- Enhance GSC’s negotiation and subject matter expertise through education and training offerings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP
- Experience in law either as a J.D. or Paralegal
