Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Computer Science, Physics, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of related work experience or a Master’s degree in a related STEM discipline and 6 years of related work experience, or PhD in a related STEM discipline with 4 years of related work experience or 12 years of related work experience instead of a degree may be considered
  • Applicants must have a current active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
  • Experience with an Agile development process
  • Automated testing for requirement verification and performance assessment
  • Requirement and verification analysis
  • Conducting post-processing and analysis of collected data
  • Development of action plans based upon analysis of data
  • Documenting software deficiency reports
  • Presenting analysis results and plans of action orally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document)
  • Understanding of Interface Control Documents and experience verifying interfaces are built correctly
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs

Responsibilities

  • Use of DoD test methodologies
  • Functional capability-related test/analysis planning and execution
  • Planning and execution of test data collection
  • Test data analysis and reporting
  • Experience should involve characterizing system, software, or component performance using quantitative methods
  • Reporting the characterization to subsequent users
  • Contributing to performance assessment by program system engineers
  • Experience may come from independent efforts and/or from participation in test teams
  • Must possess strong verbal/written communication skills, enabling them to work effectively in a small technical team environment and to accurately represent test perspectives to C2BMC systems engineers and architects, software designers, other testers and test support personnel, the Government customers, and personnel in other MDA programs
  • Must possess experience in testing and evaluating a software-intensive system in various test environments/venues, utilizing Agile development
  • Requires a strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems with assistance from other test engineers and software developers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, CISSP, CISA, etc.) is highly desired
  • Experience in a DevSecOps environment is extremely desirable
