Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or financial analysis, preferably in CPG, retail, cannabis, or a regulated industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, modeling, pivot tables) and experience with Omni, SQL, or other data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with pricing software, elasticity models, and market intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to influence pricing decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (MBA or relevant certifications are a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies that align with business objectives, market conditions, and customer insights.
  • Analyze Retail/Wholesale sales, competitor, and consumer data to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, marketing, and operations teams to implement effective pricing models.
  • Monitor pricing performance, assess elasticity, and recommend adjustments to optimize revenue and margin.
  • Design and maintain pricing dashboards and reports in Power BI, Excel, or other analytical tools.
  • Support promotional planning by evaluating discount effectiveness and trade spend ROI.
  • Partner with merchandising and planning to align pricing strategies with broader revenue goals.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for new product pricing and portfolio optimization.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive dynamics in the cannabis market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with pricing software, elasticity models, and market intelligence tools is a plus.
