Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in UX/Product Design.
- 3+ years of experience managing or leading design teams.
- A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process, critical thinking, and strong craft across complex workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of UX Designers, helping them grow their skills, their impact, and their careers.
- Set a high bar for design quality, creativity, and user-centered thinking across all phases of the product development lifecycle.
- Craft and communicate a compelling UX vision, and build iterative plans to bring that vision to life.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships across Product, Engineering, and Research to advocate for users and ensure cohesive, integrated experiences.
- Champion operational excellence—scaling the team’s processes, rituals, and systems to improve velocity without sacrificing quality.
- Inspire the team and broader organization by clearly articulating the ‘why’ behind design decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading UX efforts from product inception through launch and iteration.
- Strong ability to balance user, product, and business goals, shaping strategic decisions with a user-first mindset.
- Demonstrated success operating across organizational boundaries and leading through influence.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills across diverse audiences and levels of leadership.
- Experience working in complex domains (e.g., enterprise software, security, cloud platforms) a plus.
