Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • OR Associate’s degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and refine the target persona and ICP (ideal customer profile)
  • Craft positioning and messaging that aligns with the pain points and values of the developer/user and customer
  • Translate technical details into value propositions
  • Conduct in-depth pricing analysis and provide recommendations based on research and best practices
  • Understand the competitive landscape and craft competitive messaging
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Edge Impulse product and edge AI market
  • Lead development of sales enablement materials
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing, devrel, product, and sales teams to assist in achieving company KPIs
  • Potential to manage a small team as we grow

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years specifically in a product marketing role at a SaaS startup
  • Deep experience understanding and messaging to the developer audience
  • Experience with embedded machine learning
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and incorporating diverse feedback from multiple people
  • Experienced in learning new tools (such as Hubspot, Notion, Google Docs)
  • Comfortable working with engineers and product teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
