Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
- OR Associate’s degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
- OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
- Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Responsibilities
- Understand and refine the target persona and ICP (ideal customer profile)
- Craft positioning and messaging that aligns with the pain points and values of the developer/user and customer
- Translate technical details into value propositions
- Conduct in-depth pricing analysis and provide recommendations based on research and best practices
- Understand the competitive landscape and craft competitive messaging
- Develop a deep understanding of the Edge Impulse product and edge AI market
- Lead development of sales enablement materials
- Collaborate with the broader marketing, devrel, product, and sales teams to assist in achieving company KPIs
- Potential to manage a small team as we grow
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years specifically in a product marketing role at a SaaS startup
- Deep experience understanding and messaging to the developer audience
- Experience with embedded machine learning
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and incorporating diverse feedback from multiple people
- Experienced in learning new tools (such as Hubspot, Notion, Google Docs)
- Comfortable working with engineers and product teams
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
