Requirements
- ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH CI POLYGRAPH
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in program and/or project management, with a significant focus (5+ years) on managing large-scale, critical initiatives within the U.S. Federal Government and/or Public Sector.
- 5 years experience establishing and leading Program Management Offices (PMOs) specifically supporting technology deployments and/or software development lifecycle (SDLC) within federal environments.
- Understanding of federal government business models, procurement processes, and compliance requirements, including experience navigating security frameworks such as FedRAMP and specific Impact Levels (IL4, IL5).
- Experience managing projects with stringent security and compliance mandates, including knowledge of relevant security controls and authorization processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership, program sponsors, boundary partners, business leads, and technology teams to drive the successful implementation of large-scale, cross-organization strategic programs aimed at enterprise growth in the Federal market.
- Establish and lead a world-class Federal Program Management Office.
- Craft the delivery strategy for Workday’s portfolio of programs across diverse federal customers and compliance landscapes.
- Build positive relationships with cross-functional teams, federal customers, and partners at all levels, encouraging a culture of collaboration and shared success.
- Set clear expectations, track progress, proactively mitigate risks, and ensure delivery of critical program outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully leading the delivery of SaaS product development and deployment projects within cloud environments for Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
- Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and the ability to apply them appropriately based on project needs and federal requirements.
- Experience managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within secure cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government), with a focus on U.S. citizenship, US Person, and cleared resource-based access controls.
- Familiarity with Workday’s suite of products and implementation methodologies.
- Experience managing programs involving cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, sales, and customer success.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSPO).
- Strong technical savvy with a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, security principles, and software development practices.
