Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years in leadership roles, demonstrating expertise in portfolio and brand management, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategic vision and long-term goals of the OwnBrands portfolio for both retail banners and wholesale customers.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and execute brand strategies and category plans that align with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain brand equity and architecture across the OwnBrands portfolio, ensuring consistent messaging to shoppers, internal teams, and wholesale partners.
  • Lead the development of shopper experience plans across all brands, including creative direction and media strategy.
  • Manage and enhance brand health through effective marketing initiatives and brand stewardship.
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for profitable growth through marketing campaigns, innovation, and category expansion.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, guiding brand execution and fostering brand ownership across the portfolio.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development within the team.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned or as the business needs evolve.
