Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare intake coordination, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake process from referral to admission.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers for smooth patient transitions.
  • Assess patient eligibility based on guidelines.
  • Supervise and support intake coordinators and administrative staff.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee training and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  • Implement strategies to increase referrals and market share.
  • Collaborate with the sales team for smooth transitions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare software systems (HCHB and PointCare).
