Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Business, Finance, Technology, or Engineering (Required)
- 7-10 years Experience in leading and managing procurement processes and supply chain operations in a technology or wireless industry (Required)
- 7-10 years Experience in developing and negotiating complex agreements with suppliers, including key program specifications and objectives (Required)
- 7-10 years Experience in implementing procurement strategies and solutions to enhance supply chain effectiveness and cost-efficiency (Required)
- Vendor Management – Expertise in managing and negotiating with vendors to secure favorable terms and maintain supply chain efficiency. (Required)
- Strategic Planning – Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization’s overall business goals. (Required)
- Leadership – Strong leadership skills to guide and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. (Required)
- Problem Solving – Capability to identify and resolve complex issues within the procurement process to ensure operational continuity and efficiency. (Required)
- Negotiation – Proficient in negotiation to achieve optimal contract terms and cost savings while maintaining quality and service standards. (Required)
- Analytics – Strong analytical skills to assess procurement metrics and performance, facilitating data-driven decision making. (Required)
- Supply Chain Management – Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain operations including planning, forecasting, and inventory control. (Required)
- Communication – Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders and lead executive-level presentations. (Required)
- Financial Analysis – Ability to perform financial analysis to evaluate vendor proposals and the overall cost-effectiveness of procurement activities. (Required)
Responsibilities
- Oversees a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and leadership to enhance performance
- Manages vendor and strategic supplier relationships to secure advantageous terms and maintain supply chain reliability
- Develops procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and ensures cost-efficiency
- Implements best practices and innovative solutions to improve the procurement process
- Ensures compliance with internal and external policies and regulations within the procurement department
- Interacts regularly with internal and external executives to align procurement strategies with business objectives
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s/Advanced Degree Business Administration or Supply Chain Management (Preferred)
- Change Management – Skills in managing change within the procurement department to adopt new processes and technologies effectively. (Preferred)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) – Certification from APICS that demonstrates knowledge in supply chain management and procurement processes. (Preferred)
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) – Certification from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) that indicates expertise in supply management and procurement. (Preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) – Internationally recognized certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) that demonstrates proficiency in project management, useful for managing procurement projects. (Preferred)
