Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science or related field.
- 8-12 years of related experience in processes and systems within a Human Resources environment.
- Management experience with HR Enterprise systems such as Workday, SAP, Cornerstone, etc.
- Deep knowledge of MS Excel and Word is required.
- Strong Microsoft product skills required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal (ability to influence) skills; demonstrated ability to make independent decisions.
- Strong consultative and diagnostic skills; experience in project management methodology, process orientation and process management.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, implementation and maintenance of HR Technology solutions with a focus on process efficiency, scalability and employee experience.
- Manage the various HR systems and related analytics with emphasis on maximizing the Workday HCM implementation and ensuring maximum interconnectivity between relevant HR systems.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HRIS roadmap to support the organization’s global HR and business objectives.
- Scope, plan and drive complex and matrix initiatives, projects, and programs to further promote and improve HR operations at a global level and across the HR function.
- Apply deep HR functional knowledge to influence and collaborate with HR COE’s, HRBP’s and IT to understand HR strategy and create a technology vision to support goals and focus areas.
- Improve, streamline, and automate human resource business processes.
- Ensure HR workflow are efficient, transparent, adaptable and documented.
- Work closely with HR functional areas to understand business needs and workflow.
- Analyze requirements and scope, develop, and drive solutions to complex system problems across all HR functions.
- Serve as project manager for HR technology initiatives; lead cross-functional project teams of both HR and IT experts.
- Understand and communicate business requirements to developers and IT.
- Develop project plans, manage meetings and ensure projects stay focused.
- Oversee design, testing and support of internal and external interfaces to Workday HCM.
- Ensure HR systems are leveraged to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of HR operations and data management.
- Serve as a member of the Human Resources Management Team, providing leadership across the department on daily management issues.
- Support the development and implementation of long-term strategic planning.
- Manage HRIS staff; prioritize and allocate work, provide guidance, make decisions regarding employment, performance measurement, compensation, training, development and perform other related supervisory activities.
- Assume additional responsibilities, and special projects, as requested.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced technical degree or education preferred.
- Experience with the Workday environment preferred.
- Familiarity with reporting tools, Ceridian payroll interface and applicant tracking systems preferred.
