Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, corporate finance, franchising, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling, including scenario planning and deal structuring
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments to collect variety of data and structure pitch to potential franchisee partners
  • Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability and a passion for the success of the brand, the team, and personal career growth

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business unit leaders in developing and executing development and expansion strategy for long-term growth of the Popeyes brand
  • Market the expansion opportunity externally and attract the highest quality prospective franchisees
  • Build and lead financial models, outputs and scenarios for diligence and deal structuring
  • Conduct due diligence on prospective franchisees, including in-person Discovery Days with prospective franchisees
  • Negotiation of development agreements with prospective franchisees
  • Liaise between Development, Franchising and Field teams to gather necessary insights to drive negotiations
  • Develop and deliver presentations both internally and externally to executive level leadership
