Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years in content programming, curation, audience development, and/or streaming television.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading and managing a team effectively.
  • Proven track record of successfully growing diverse audiences across various platforms.
  • Track record of creating curating experiences that drive user engagement, retention, and growth.
  • Proficient in digital media publishing with hands-on experience using a consumer-facing CMS across web, app, streaming, or connected devices.
  • Familiar with using data analysis tools such as Tableau, Looker, Conviva, Excel, Google Sheets, and Airtable to drive informed decision-making and enhance insights.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to large groups.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
  • Quick learner with strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, develop, and manage the team responsible for Content Promotions across Hulu and Disney+, ensuring they effectively meet the needs of our viewers and align with business goals.
  • Manage the editorial campaign calendar and programming strategies to identify optimization opportunities and drive meaningful growth and engagement across the platforms.
  • Collaborate with insights, data, and analytics teams to design experiments, collect data, and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Contribute to title campaign ideation, planning, tracking, and communication across teams and the broader organization, focusing on leveraging video promotions to expand audiences.
  • Guide title prioritization and targeting strategies while effectively managing a high volume of concurrent priorities.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of team processes, workflows, strategies, and performance results.
  • Be available to cover evening and weekend programming events as needed.
  • Collaborate with leaders from the Hulu and Disney+ Content Programming teams worldwide to shape the overall DTC programming strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the streaming/SVOD.
  • Global Content Programming leadership experience.
