Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing leaves of absence, ADA accommodations, and workers’ compensation.
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state, and other relevant employment laws.
- Experience managing third-party vendor relationships.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and leave management software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage all employee leaves, including FMLA, state leaves, Workers’ Compensation, and VEG-specific leaves, serving as the main point of contact for employees.
- Oversee LOA vendors and third-party administrators, ensuring service delivery, compliance, and issue resolution.
- Lead the interactive process for ADA accommodations, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating reasonable adjustments.
- Manage Workers’ Compensation claims, including injury reporting, claim coordination, and return-to-work programs.
- Maintain accurate records, track leave trends, and prepare reports to ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies.
